Great grandpa’s birthday

Birthday parties are lots of fun and my great grandpa’s was no exception. I sang and jumped and danced and ate delicious food. I also made friends with a cat who let me pet her and play with her. I never knew I can laugh so much!

Guests

I’m so glad my aunts decided to visit! They brought the cutest gifts and played with me the whole time. We had so much fun I think we should make this a recurring thing.

Snow princess

Yesterday I went to my first dress up party. I thought being a snow princess would be lots if fun and I can welcome winter and get into holiday spirit. I made sure to take my magic wand to help me with balloons and sparkles.

Gobble, gobble, gobble

I had such a great Thanksgiving and so much fun, that I can’t even remember if I ate any turkey! There was dancing and singing and playing and lots of laughing.

It was so nice to  hang out in a company of a few good friends

My primary job for the evening was to pose for pictures

That is why I needed lots of accessories

My other job was to be in charge of the ambiance and regulate the lighting as necessary.

All night adults were very disorganized and needed lots of clear directions for everything

Like helping me construct a homemade slide

A few very special people got my very special kisses

And others got a tickle

And a laugh

When everyone quieted down, I read stories to the whole family

And at the end everyone was so full from eating all the turkey, that I had to pick them up from the floor.

Dressing up

Everyone spent the whole morning dressing up and left for a party. I wanted to go too, but was too sleepy and decided to stay home. But I did manage to take some pictures.

My eight months birthday took a whole weekend to celebrate! Friday I had a mini celebration with my parents. Saturday night grandparents threw a party. And Sunday my family from Staten Island came for a visit. It was a very busy weekend, but I managed to fit a photo session into my schedule, so here are the long awaited pictures :)

Yesterday I turned seven months. As a reward, I thought I’d give myself a day off from my job as a blog writer and photo editor. And to be honest, there was so much excitement in the air that I doubt I would be able to concentrate on writing. Turning seven months was lots of fun. First I had a little party with my friends Zebra and Sophie the Giraffe where we sat in a circle and sang songs, played clapping games and counting rhymes. Then my real live friend David came for a play date. I haven’t interacted with David before, so I didn’t know if we would have anything in common. But he was very nice and we had a really good time. We told each other stories, held hands, and even played footsie. He brought me the softest little sheep named Dasha. I also got presents from my friend Rachel, who I hope to see soon so that I can say “Thank you!” for all the wonderful books and clothes she got me.
