Upstate

There are so many things to see in the woods! It is almost like a zoo, except animals come to you. I saw a beaver, a raccoon, whole duck families, eagles, deer, chipmunks, bats and many different birds. I caught fireflies and grasshoppers, and even held earth worms and Roly-Poly. There was plenty of wild strawberries to pick and places to explore. I dipped my feet into streams and touched waterfalls. I also helped around the house, gardened, watered plants, and build a fire.

Happy Halloween

This was the scariest Halloween ever, since so many people ended up without power or water. I played in candle light, walked up and down pitch dark stairs with just a little flashlight, watched raging ocean flood homes and sweep away cars, and trees fall as if they were little sticks. But I remained brave and even had time to try on my costume.

A walk in the park

Yesterday I visited my great-grandpa for his 86th birthday! The weather was amazing, so we all went out for a walk in the park. Great-grandpa is very funny and we have a lot in common: the color of our eyes, the amount of hair, although now I have more teeth.
