Last weekend was so much fun! It was my friend Sabrina’s birthday and we all went to Lunapark, had pizza, and even checked out some rides.

I was practicing my dance moves, when I was informed that I have reached my big birthday. Checking my records, I confirmed that last year today, I arrived at 11:53am, weighing 6.125lb and 19 1/2 in length. Now I stand tall at 29 3/4in and weigh 24 1/4lb. Of course, I asked to be photographed so you can see how much I’ve grown.

I took my dad to the beach over the weekend. Since I was there before, I showed him all the good spots, explained how to sort sand, and even gave him a swimming lesson.

Last year on you birthday,
We still haven’t formally met,

I like our walks together,
Our playtime is always grand,

You potty train me ruthlessly,

Even without TV shows,
I know I have the bestest dad.

When sleepy and when tired,
Or wide awake, sitting in my bed,
And all I can say is “Papa”
Which means, “Happy birthday, world’s greatest dad!”

Growing so fast is not an easy job, but somebody’s got to do it. On my last birthday I got two brand new teeth, and I really thought I would get something equally exciting or better. I was really hoping for walking ability, but I guess we are saving that for my big twelve months birthday. For now, I just have to be satisfied with a new dress.

Memorial day weekend started the beach season for the summer, and I just had to go check it out. I got my beach gear and went to enjoy the sun. The sand was amazing! I haven’t touched anything like that before. And I was not scared even a little bit of the ocean waves and really wanted to go for a swim.

I couldn’t miss my dear friend Rachel’s sweet 16 birthday party and asked my parents to take me to the celebration. I had an amazing time! I made so many friends, played with balloons, and danced the night away.
