Potty time

A big gift box under the tree contained an unusual object. Smooth and white, with a hole for a seat, its neither a chair nor a bouncy seat, and it doesn’t require a diaper. Parents make funny noises when they sit me on it and tell me I’ve produced some successful results.

First real breakfast

Let me tell you, its not easy to eat from a spoon, I had to change all my clothes afterwards, as spoons are so messy. I tried dipping my fingers into the plate and then licking them, surely it would have been easier, but parents said “no”. I also tried sticking my tongue out and licking the plate, just like Pixel has showed me, but parents said “no” again. Trying to  knock the spoon out and flipping the plate did not deter my parents either, and they persisted to spoon-feed me. Overall, rice cereal is not so bad. I think we will try again tomorrow.

Partying the night away

I am happy to report that I did not sleep thru the new year! Waking up half past eleven, I had plenty of time to get ready and make my grand entrance. I wore my new dress and the crown. The celebration was a blast: everyone was taking pictures and I was the life of the party :)

Last day of the year

Even though I went to bed later than my usual bedtime yesterday, I couldn’t sleep in… there was just too much excitement in the air for the anticipation of the new year’s celebration: there will be guests coming and i have a brand new dress! So I decided to help with present wrapping. And Pixel joined too :)

Aurora blog is launched!

Due to the popular demand we decided to start the new year with a blog about Aurora. See you in 2012 everyone :)
